Yes, there are legitimate uses for flash

I don’t know if this counts as art, science or whatever, but it sure is beautiful.

Levitated is a site full of “web-toys” (for want of a better word) which are not only beautiful but are also really interesting.

They all come with a very complete description of the algorithms used to generate them and govern their dynamics.
